Our Bristol showroom is now open. Take a look at how we can help with all your hard landscaping needs and more.
Helpful displays
Our Bristol showroom is our eighth and newest, offering everything our customers have come to expect from London Stone. Designed to our signature look by our experienced in-house team, it’s spacious and airy, with plenty of room to browse landscaping materials.
Our ranges of paving, decking, clay pavers and cladding are given generous display areas, comparing colours and textures. This is particularly useful if you’re interested in natural stone or clay pavers with plenty of variation. Our displays are large enough to give a good idea of the overall effect. You'll also see plenty of inspirational images of projects featuring our products, so you can hone your ideas and make the most of your design.
But don’t forget our pergolas and planters. Our Corten steel troughs, cubes and cylinders are presented planted up, giving a much better feel for the effect of size and shape than in a muddle in a garden centre. You’ll also find the Proteus pergola on display, so you can check its quality and discover how easy it is to open and close the louvred roof. Take our showroom video tour.
Knowledgeable staff
With the Bristol showroom, our furthest west, we are serving Gloucestershire, South Wales, Swindon and the Cotswolds, as well as Bath and Somerset areas. Managing the showroom is Ian Simpson, who we’re are delighted to welcome to London Stone, with his extensive background in retail and showroom management, as well as experience in building and home improvement. Customer service is etched deeply into his ethos and you’ll be in safe hands on your search for the best hard landscaping materials.
This is also the showroom at the heart of Nick Rixton’s area. Nick is one of our Landscape Consultants, with an enormous breadth of knowledge of all things landscaping, thanks to his time in family firm Greenbird Gardening, an award-winning design and build company. "As a landscaper, I'd have found this a great asset. There's nothing like it in the area," he says.
If you’re a builder, landscaper or designer, then Nick will be happy to talk you through products to suit your customers’ needs. You're also very welcome to make use of our premises for client meetings and design consultations.
You needn’t fear a hard sell, though. The showroom is an opportunity to see the latest materials, handle them, and look at alternative options. We have free hot and cold refreshments ready, so you can relax and take your time or take away literature and sample to think about at home. We’re there if you need us.
Convenient location
Located in Filton on the A38, about a mile south of Junction 16 on the M5 (near where the M4 crosses the M5), our Bristol showroom has free parking and all displays are indoors, so it’s a great easy-to-access destination, whatever the weather.
More showrooms to come
Design Project Manager Piotr Przytula is one of a team of three, with director Gavin Walley and designer Mariana Fernandez Velasco, who oversee our showrooms from design concept to fully built. As you’d expect of such a large project, there were challenges along the way, but the team kept it on track. “There were delays with suppliers, delays with constructors,” says Piotr, “but we’ve opened only two weeks later than planned.” He's also particularly pleased with the finish and detailing, so do admire the tiling!
Work begins next month on our Manchester showroom, bringing the London Stone experience to the Midlands. Look out for announcements later in the year.
