London Stone are suppling natural stone paving to two gardens at RHS Hampton Court 2013. We show the progress of Garden Pad in the run-up to the opening.

Ground excavated, Streetscape are well into building Garden Pad at Hampton Court Flower Show 2013, designed by Dan Bowyer of Fisher Tomlin and Bowyer.

Fisher Tomlin & Bowyer have been specifying London Stone products for a while now, so when they approached us to support their show garden we were eager to be involved.

Dan Bowyer's come up with a brilliant design, the focal point of which is a sunken terrace.  Beige sawn sandstone paving was the material of choice with matching coping stones and step treads.  Two sides of the garden are sheltered by a contemporary screen and the whole garden is surrounded by exquisite planting.

The design is for a bachelor who enjoys the finer things in life: someone looking for a contemporary space where he can entertain and relax. The planting has been chosen to enhance summer use, while the outside fireplace is ideal for cosy, cooler evenings.

Putting the finishing touches to a bachelor's garden.

This is a really intimate garden and you could easily imagine yourself sitting out in it with family or friends enjoying a warm summer evening.  The quality of the build is absolutely outstanding.  Installing sawn paving and bespoke stone is highly skilled work and the finish achieved on this garden is absolutely outstanding.

Garden Pad won a well-deserved Silver-Gilt. As did the second garden we supplied this year - take a look at Stephen A Ryan's "I Have a Dream".
