On July 28th 2015 we welcomed 10 members from the Society of Garden Designers cluster group headed by Josh Ward to our Open Seminar, featuring tours of our West London Showroom and Bespoke Stone Centre near Heathrow. The event was lead by our Business Development Manager, Craig Potter.
The afternoon started with a tour through the West London Showroom, with the aim of increasing the designer’s knowledge on the stone and services that we provide. The details and characteristics of each type of stone we offer was explained in detail, along with the treatment and pointing products and services available.
Next on the agenda was a tour of our Bespoke Stone Centre. This is where all of our bespoke items are crafted by our talented masons. We showed the designers how everything from straight pavers to pier caps are created on our CNC machine, and then finished to perfection by the masons. A wide variety of edge profiles, engravings and curve cuts can be produced with ease, making it much easier for designers to create more intricate and complex designs.
