Enhance Your Outdoor Space with London Stone's Clay Paver Bricks

Our Kessel Garden Range of clay paving bricks offer a perfect blend of durability, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal, making them an ideal choice for transforming your outdoor spaces. London Stone acquired the distinguished Chelmer Valley brand in 2020, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Why Choose Kessel Garden Clay Pavers?

Superior Quality and Durability

Our clay pavers are crafted to withstand the test of time. Made from 100% natural materials, these pavers are designed to be incredibly durable, resisting wear and tear from daily use and adverse weather conditions. Unlike other materials, clay pavers maintain their colour and structural integrity for years.

Versatility in Design

Whether you prefer a traditional or modern aesthetic, our range of clay pavers offers something for everyone. Available in a wide range of colours, from the sandy-buff tones of Gromo Antica, to the rustic red hues of Roma, to the graphite grey of Carbona, Kessel Garden clay pavers are manufactured with a tumbled edge and possess the unique ability to be at home in both traditional gardens, and modern designs. Their earthy tones blend seamlessly with any landscape, enhancing the natural beauty of your outdoor space.

Kessel Garden clay pavers can be used in a number of different ways within your outdoor space:

Patios & Terraces – Clay paving is a timeless material that brings interest and movement to an outdoor terrace, but also combines beautifully with other paving types, be it natural stone flags or porcelain tiles.

Driveways – Enhance the front of your home with a Kessel Garden clay paving driveway. Adding kerb appeal, beauty, and practicality, clay paving is the perfect paving material for a drive.

Pathways – clay pavers are a highly adaptable paving material, that can make for a beautiful, welcoming pathway, adding value to your property. Why not combine different types of bricks from the Kessel Garden Range, to create something uniquely yours?

Steps – Clay paving might not be the first material that springs to mind when you think of garden steps, but they can make for a stunning, practical finish in any garden setting.

Laying Patterns To Enhance Your Design

Clay pavers offer a range of laying patterns that can significantly influence the aesthetic and functional aspects of paved surfaces. The most common patterns include the herringbone, basket weave, and running bond. The herringbone pattern, characterised by its zigzag design, provides a robust structure that is highly resistant to shifting, making it ideal for high-traffic areas like pathways and driveways. The basket weave pattern, with its distinctive square blocks, creates a visually intricate surface reminiscent of woven fabric, suitable for both modern and traditional settings. The running bond pattern, where each row is offset by half a paver, offers a classic and straightforward look that can make spaces appear larger and more elongated. Each pattern not only enhances the visual appeal of an area but also contributes to the durability and maintenance requirements of the paved surface.

Clay Pavers – A Sustainable Choice

Choosing clay pavers from London Stone means opting for an environmentally friendly option. Our pavers are made without the use of cement or concrete, reducing their environmental impact, and have a lifespan of well over 100 years. This commitment to sustainability ensures that your outdoor space is beautiful and eco-conscious.

Collaboration with Vandersanden; A Trusted Manufacturer

When London Stone acquired renowned clay paving supplier Chelmer Valley in 2020, we built on years of supplying the UK landscaping sector and broadened our range of paving materials. All the bricks in our Kessel Garden range are supplied from prominent Belgian-Dutch brick supplier Vandersanden, whom we are proud to partner with. This collaboration allows us to offer a diverse selection of clay pavers that are not only visually appealing but also built to the highest standards. Vandersanden's expertise in brick manufacturing ensures that every paver we offer is of superior quality and allows London Stone to be at the forefront of the brick-industry.

Easy Maintenance

Maintaining our clay pavers is straightforward. Designed to naturally resist stains, these pavers require minimal upkeep. Regular sweeping and occasional gentle jet washing are all it takes to keep your paving looking new. A benefit of clay pavers being laid on a non-rigid base, is that in the unlikely event of needing to lift and re-lay a brick, this is easily achieved.
