Composite Battens

Offering sleek uniformity and a lasting finish, our Composite Battens offer a contemporary, eco-friendly solution for fencing and cladding projects. Made in-part from natural bamboo fibres, composite battens are a sustainable choice without sacrificing style or quality. What is the difference between Stone Cladding and DesignClad?

Stone Cladding is made from natural stone and provides a timeless, rustic finish. It's ideal for traditional or naturalistic designs. DesignClad, on the other hand, offers a sleek, modern finish and is available in Luxury, Premium, and Compact ranges. DesignClad is manufactured from porcelain, and is typically chosen for more contemporary projects.

Are your cladding products weather-resistant?

Yes, all of our cladding products are designed to be highly durable and weather-resistant, ensuring long-lasting performance even in harsh outdoor conditions. This includes resistance to rain, UV rays, and temperature fluctuations.

Natural stone cladding products are extremely durable, however, a product like Mint Sandstone Cladding is a light, porous sandstone, so will weather slightly more so than a darker, more robust stone such as a slate or limestone.

How do I maintain cladding and walling products?

Our cladding and walling products are designed to be ultra-low-maintenance. Periodic cleaning with mild soap and water is usually sufficient. Materials like composite battens, require no sealing or staining, unlike timber fencing.

Can I install the cladding products myself?

Many of our products, such as Compact DesignClad and Composite Battens, are suitable for DIY installation. However, for larger or more complex projects, we recommend professional installation to ensure the best results. Can your cladding be used indoors?

Absolutely! While our cladding and walling products are designed for outdoor use, they are also suitable for indoor feature walls, adding texture and interest to interior spaces. All of our DesignClad products are perfect for use in an internal setting, especially in modern bathrooms.
