"The Heath Smooth Sandstone coping works so well in this more traditional design, I’ve combined it with a rustic tumbled walling sandstone and…(Read More)" we think they look great together. I love combining materials in a new and interesting way and my clients absolutely love their new brick planters. Not only are they gorgeous to look at but they are practical too, as the coping’s smoothness is perfect for when my clients need a perch whilst gardening."
Heath Smooth Sandstone Coping Stones are sawn six sides with pencil-round edges and a honed surface. A Heath Smooth Sandstone Coping Stone offers a cost-effective alternative to grey Yorkstone, which has similar grey colouring. This coping stone is well-suited to more traditional settings, where they create an attractive finish and quickly look established. We recommend that all customers read our product & installation guides and view our colour variation boards before buying.
Please view our colour variation pictures under the Specifications & Dimensions tab, as well as our comprehensive image galleries.
Not all variation shown will be present in every batch of stone and there may also be further variations not shown online. All natural stone will vary in colour, texture and natural markings. A small sample may not give an accurate reflection of how your finished patio will look.
We strongly recommend a visit to our showroom and advise you to view as much stone as possible before purchasing. Additionally, we are able to provide full sized samples at an additional cost. Speak to a member of our team who will happily advise you.

Pre-sealing Sawn Natural Stone
London Stone strongly recommend that the following natural stones are pre-sealed prior to laying:
Sawn Sandstone
Sawn Limestone
Sawn British Stone
Why Pre-Seal?
Stone arrives on site ready to install
Reduces weathering so stone retains its original look
Reduces efflorescence
Reduces algae
Reduces the need for intensive maintenance
Protects from oil and grease
Please be advised that pre-sealing carries an additional lead-time. This can be viewed on the product page, once pre-sealing is selected as an option.
Installation Ancillaries Calculator
Use our handy, in-page, calculator to find out how much pointing product you require to install your paving.
The calculator automatically updates with the required amount based on the quantity of paving you have inserted in the spec-chart.
Simply tick the ‘add to order’ boxes and then the ‘add to basket’ button to purchase.
Please note, the calculator provides accurate figures based on our recommended installation method. On-site variables can lead to more/less material being used.
If you would like a different colour grout with your paving, we recommend adding the recommended quantity to basket from the pointing product page, as the in-page calculator only allows you to add our recommended colour to basket.
