Product description

Lithofin Rust-ex Cleaner is a clear, nearly colourless liquid that removes rust stains and residues of metal oxide from all natural stone, porcelain and ceramic surfaces. Being mildly alkaline, it is safe to use on limestone. Applied for no more than ten minutes, it produces a visible reaction by turning purple, and works by turning rust into water soluble particles which can then be rinsed off using water and a dash of Lithofin MN Power-Clean. This patio cleaner doesn't change the appearance of the surface, so it can be used on individual stains. One litre covers approximately 10m2.

Storage & Shelf Life	Store in cool, dark and closed conditions. Closed, this product has a shelf life of up to 1 year. Store in a locked area, inaccessible to children.
PPE Requirements	Do not take internally. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling vapours. Wear latex gloves, face mask, protective clothing and safety goggles during application.

Installation

London Stone recommend that all our materials are installed by experienced professionals. The following is a summary of installation.

Install Preparation	Ensure surface is clear of debris and clear of objects.
Equipment Required	Water, bucket, brush and PPE.
Application Process	Test the product suitability first in an inconspicuous area. Apply the product generously to dry surface and distribute with a clean, soft brush.Allow to work for 5 - 10 minutes - purple discolouration will show that the product has activated. DO NOT exceed 10 minute working time.After working time, use clean water with a touch of Lithofin MN Power Clean to thoroughly rinse off.See product guide for detail.

Returns

Cancel up to 14 days from the date of delivery. Products are to be returned in the same condition and packaging. No returns for bespoke or pre-sealed items.

You will be responsible for returning the material to London Stone. We can make a collection but this will incur a collection cost.
