Product description

Antique Grey limestone paving is a riven natural paving with hand-cut edges. Its special character has been achieved through heavy tumbling, which gives it a leathery, time-worn patina. Tumbling smooths surface unevenness and softens edges, creating a hard-wearing limestone paving that complements rustic settings and older properties. Antique Grey is identical in character to our popular Antique Yellow limestone, and could be used in conjunction with it to colour zone paving areas, while maintaining a scheme’s texture and feel. We recommend that all customers read our product & installation guides and view our colour variation boards before buying.

We were delighted to use Antique Grey Limestone to create a feature border for a multi-level terrace project. Used in conjunction with Yellow Limestone, the two limestones work beautifully together providing contrast and complimenting one another. The antique finish creates a soft timeless appearance and the neutral colour tones well with adjacent planting and finishes.Read More

Receiving Your Delivery

Materials with sawn edges can contain small chips to the corners, edges or on the back of the slab. This is an unavoidable result of the production, handling and transportation process and is not considered a defect. Most small chips are not visible or unnoticeable after the stone has been installed and pointed. On arrival, sawn stones can also display residual moisture and may need cleaning and drying before installation or pre-sealing.

Dimensional Tolerance

London Stone recommends ordering an additional 10% to allow for wastage, cuts, and the occasional piece which you may not like the look of. London Stone will not refund, or exchange stone based on variation in colour, texture, natural characteristics, or small chips.

Distribution of Slabs

It is advisable to sort through all crates on arrival so that colour variation can be distributed evenly throughout the paved area. At this point, any slabs with heavier chipping, colour variation or markings can be set aside to be used as cuts or wastage.

Colour variation

Please view our colour variation pictures under the Specifications & Dimensions tab, as well as our comprehensive image galleries.

Not all variation shown will be present in every batch of stone and there may also be further variations not shown online. All natural stone will vary in colour, texture and natural markings. A small sample may not give an accurate reflection of how your finished patio will look.

We strongly recommend a visit to our showroom and advise you to view as much stone as possible before purchasing. Additionally, we are able to provide full sized samples at an additional cost. Speak to a member of our team who will happily advise you.
