Palermo Basalt

Formed from ancient volcanic rock, Palermo Basalt is an unabashed, no nonsense European natural stone from Italy. Possessing outstanding technical properties, this material offers rich grey colouring, and all the characteristics expected from a basalt: hard-wearing, luxurious aesthetics, and colour consistency. This material is especially at home in projects seeking an industrial feel, around water features and commercial facades, as well as for use as floating steps and landing sections. Crisp, machine-sawn edges allow for sleek 5mm joint widths, enhancing the material’s stylish credentials. Aftercare

London Stone recommend this product is swept regularly and cleaned periodically using a solution of Lithofin Outdoor cleaner and a pressure washer with a wide spray. In shady gardens it may also be necessary to treat with Lithofin Algex to control the appearance of algae. For detailed aftercare advice please refer to the product guide.
